With over 10 million Africans residing in North America and Europe, the demand for accessible financial solutions is high.

About the Role

As a Junior Graphics Designer, you are a creative and imaginative individual with a strong grasp of graphic design software. Your basic understanding of composition, color theory, and design concepts empowers you to produce visually appealing and engaging content. While you may not always label your layers, you maintain an organized workflow that allows colleagues and collaborators to easily access necessary files.

Job Summary

This remote role within LemFi’s Marketing team is essential to our design efforts. You will support the design team and contribute to various projects aimed at expanding LemFi’s marketing presence in Africa, North America, and Europe. The ideal candidate has experience in creating content for marketing and brand storytelling, contributing to LemFi’s global expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with designers and team members to ensure consistent branding across all materials.
  • Work closely with collaborators to meet project deadlines.
  • Stay current with the latest design trends and technologies.
  • Take graphic design projects from concept to completion, incorporating feedback and revisions as needed.
  • Apply a strong understanding of design for corporate and industry-facing creative materials.
  • Proficient use of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) is required.
  • Maintain an organized, detail-oriented approach to work.
  • Communicate project progress and issues effectively with the team and collaborators.
  • Commit to ongoing skill development through training, research, and experimentation to improve work quality.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a graphics designer, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to global operational needs and work in a dynamic business and regulatory environment.
  • Demonstrated skills in file management and the use of graphic design software.
  • A portfolio showcasing your ability to create engaging graphics and typography.
  • Evidence of upward growth in design skills.
  • Adherence to established brand design guidelines, including colors and fonts
