Remote PHP Backend Developer at Appyclan Technologies

  • Qualification: BA/BSc/HND, OND
  • Experience: 3 years
  • Location: Remote
  • Salary Range: ₦200,000 – ₦300,000/month

Requirements

  • Proficiency in LAMP/LEMP stack
  • Expertise in PHP7+
  • Experience with the Laravel framework
  • Skilled in API development and integration
  • Familiarity with production environments
  • Ability to start or contribute to projects at any stage
  • Strong understanding of web development fundamentals
  • In-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming
  • Proficient in relational databases
  • Experience with CI/CD processes
  • Comfortable using Git
  • Project portfolio required
  • Frontend experience is a plus (HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, AJAX, Bootstrap, VueJS, Nuxt)
  • Fluency in English

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the Laravel framework
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
  • Develop, document, and integrate APIs
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
  • Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness
  • Troubleshoot and debug to ensure smooth application operation
  • Implement security and data protection measures
  • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members
  • Stay updated on emerging web development technologies and best practices
  • Manage deployment environments and operations
