Remote Business Development Manager at PalmPay


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in financial services and a proven track record of driving growth. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to expand the company’s market presence in the fintech industry.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, alliances, and new markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and how our solutions can meet them.
  • Drive profitability through strategic growth initiatives and by identifying and analyzing market trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client needs and align with company goals.
  • Lead negotiations with clients and partners, ensuring favorable terms and outcomes for the company.
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends and competitors to identify potential opportunities and threats.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree would be an advantage.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, preferably within the financial services or fintech sector.
  • Strong understanding of financial services, market analysis, and strategic planning.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Experience with project management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Certifications

  • PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner
  • BCS Business Analysis Foundation
  • CBI Professional Banker Diploma.
